Abduraouph is an admitted attorney and the Managing Director at De Beer Attorneys. He is extensively involved in all aspects of trade mark and copyright matters, in addition to handling complex commercial disputes and civil mediation matters. He is also involved with all aspects of the prosecution process and enforcement of trade marks for local and foreign clients.
Abduraouph graduated Cum Laude with an LLB qualification from the University of the Western Cape before beginning his career at Africa's largest intellectual property law firm. Here, he gained extensive experience in the prosecution and enforcement of trade marks training under some of Africa's intellectual property industry leaders, in addition to representing some of the world's most prestigious international brands.
Abduraouph is widely regarded as an up-and-coming expert in the legal fraternity in South Africa and regularly conducts interviews on radio, TV and print media.

NICOLE DIEDERICKS
Associate
Nicole is an admitted attorney and Associate at De Beer Attorneys.
She is extensively involved in our patents and litigation departments. Nicole takes an interest in all aspects relating to the filing, prosecution and enforcement of patents and registered designs for local and foreign clients.
In addition to her LLB degree, Nicole earned a qualification in human physiology and biological sciences from the University of Pretoria.
Nicole joined De Beer Attorneys after gaining experience at a prominent South African law firm that specialises in litigation and dispute resolution. There, she obtained extensive experience in all forms of dispute resolution, such as; mediation, arbitration and litigation in the High Court and local Magistrate’s Courts.

NAZLI LONDT-SADIEN
Senior Associate
Nazli is an admitted attorney and Senior Associate at De Beer Attorneys. She handles all the aspects related to Trade Mark, Patent and Registered Design prosecution and maintenance in South Africa and abroad. Nazli is the first point of contact for clients enquiring about Intellectual Property prosecution and maintenance matters. She works to streamline and optimise internal Intellectual Property management processes at our firm.
Nazli has extensive experience in all aspects of Intellectual Property administration and follows a meticulous and personal approach in each case we handle. She completed her LLB degree at the University of the Western Cape.
Nazli’s focus areas include the prosecution of patents, registered designs and trade marks. She oversees all local and foreign applications from filing through to registration. Nazli is also responsible for maintaining these intellectual property rights, which include the payment and processing of maintenance/annuity fees.

ELAINE BERGENTHUIN
Patent Consultant
Elaine is an award-winning patent attorney with fifteen years of legal experience under her belt.
Before qualifying as a patent attorney at the University of London, Elaine began her studies with a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pretoria in addition to earning a postgraduate LLB qualification through UNISA.
As the previous Managing Director of De Beer Attorneys, she is currently consulting in our patents department while transitioning away from the firm and into the next chapter of her legal career.
